Two things. A free directory of 12,882 breweries across 106 countries, and a library of guides on brewing beer, coffee, tea, kombucha and wine at home.
Where the brewery data comes from
Listings are compiled from OpenStreetMap and Open Brewery DB, both open data projects, plus a small number of owner submissions. The last full import was November 2025.
Breweries open, move and close constantly, so treat opening hours and phone numbers as a starting point and confirm before you travel. Every listing has a “Suggest an edit” link, and owners can claim their page.
How the guides are produced
We do not test equipment. No kegerator on this site has been in our kitchen, we have no lab, and we receive no review units. Anywhere a guide reads as though we tested something, that is a mistake and we want to hear about it.
What the picks are actually based on: published manufacturer specifications, capacity and pressure figures, fitting and valve standards, whether a named manufacturer exists to sell you a replacement part in three years, and what owners consistently report. Where a listing is too thin to judge, we say so rather than filling the gap.
Guides are written with AI assistance and published under the brewing.com name rather than a person’s, because no single person writes them. There are no star ratings and no review counts anywhere on this site.

How the site makes money
Some guides contain Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through one, brewing.com earns a commission at no extra cost to you, and each link is marked “(paid link)” where it appears.
Prices come from Amazon and are re-checked every night. Each one is shown with the date it was last confirmed, and if we do not have a current figure the page says “Check price” instead of printing a stale number.
Nobody pays to appear here. No manufacturer has any say in what these guides recommend, and the brewery directory carries no paid placements at all. Some links, such as those to yeast manufacturers, earn nothing and exist because a recipe naming an ingredient you cannot source is not much of a recipe.
