What the recipe assumes you have
Two steps above carry the equipment: something to hold a pound of grounds and eight cups of water for twelve hours, and something to get the grounds back out again. Everything else is a jug and a fridge.
Brewing vessel and filter in one
County Line Kitchen 64 oz Cold Brew Coffee Maker
Why it fits
Sixty-four ounces matches the eight cups of water in the recipe above, and the stainless mesh basket collapses steps four and five into one action: lift the basket out instead of straining a full pitcher through cloth. Wide-mouth glass carries no flavour between batches, and the leak-proof lid means it can steep lying on its side in the fridge.
Limitations
Glass, and a full 64 oz jar is heavy. Mesh passes more fines than cheesecloth does, so the concentrate is a little cloudier, and grinding finer than the recipe says will clog it. The finished concentrate needs to move to another bottle if you want to start the next batch.
